The term »Phantanoise«
… is not a non-sensual neologism, but a „speaking“ one. PHANTA refers to the realm of the imagination, the unconscious and improvisation, NOISE to the world of sounds, which may not necessarily be ingratiating at first hearing. Sounds and noises, however, which represent an enormous enrichment in their immeasurable variety and beauty.
The Phantanoise branches
Phantanoise© initially serves as an antonym for Sepp Wejwar’s electronic projects, later becoming also an umbrella brand under which three factions live:
